Mission Statement
To maintain good clean safe drinking water and safer environment for the Community of Alexander First Nation
Alexander Health Services Environmental Health Program is a community based service that is offered to the people of Alexander First Nation The program Consist of an Environmental Health Worker and their role is to maintain a good clean safe environment and water supply is delivered to the community.
This is delivered through a number of activities which may include the Community Clean up which is held annually, Promotion and prevention at different community events. In services throughout the departments, Food Safety Courses which are held twice a year for those wishing to obtain a food handling certification for job purposes. Drug Round Up, Sharps Container Pick up & Exchange.
Water is the symbol of Life, from which all forms come from, and return to. It is considered to be the blood of life.
