Dental Services
A.H.S Dental Program offers cleanings, check-ups, fluoride treatments, school visits from September to April, on site extractions for emergencies, also helps iwth prevention of baby bottle tooth decay. All of these are offered throughout the year, so stop on in for your check up.

Dental Therapist- Services offered to AFN band Members on reserve Monday –Thursday from 8:30-4:30pm are the following:
- Cleanings
- Sealants (protective coating on back teeth to prevent cavities)
- X-Rays
- Fillings
- Stainless Steel Crowns on baby teeth
- Extractions
- Emergency Exams
- Referrals
- Proper Oral Hygiene instruction
- Pre-and Postnatal teaching for families and children
- Fluoride trays and varnish
- Desensitizing treatment
- Polishing of silver fillings
Our Dental Therapist is trained to provide dental treatment primarily to school age children. The procedures are carried out under a treatment plan prescribed by a Dentist.
The above treatments will only be provided to a child with a signed consent form. These forms are given out at the school or can be picked up at the Health Center.
Our Dental Therapist can also conduct dental preventive education to individuals or groups within the community: ie the school, daycare, head-start, elders lodge ect.
Adults are seen Monday to Thursday at 2:45 pm as an appointment or walk in.
